How Presias collects, uses, stores, and protects information across the iOS app and Web archive.
UpdatedAugust 23, 2026
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the Presias iOS application, the Presias Web archive, and related recording, account, membership, and support services (together, the "Service"). It explains what information we handle, why we handle it, who may process it, and the choices available to you.
2. Information you provide
When you create or access an account, we may receive your email address and authentication information from Supabase Auth, Apple Sign In, or Google Sign-In. Apple may provide a private relay email address when you choose Hide My Email. We use this information to create your account, authenticate you, keep your session active, and communicate with you about support or material service changes.
When you create a moment, we process the content you choose to save, including text, title, photos, videos, voice recordings, dates, moods, favorites, and an optional place name. We do not require you to add a location, mood, photo, video, or voice recording to use the basic text-recording feature.
3. Device permissions
The app requests camera access only when you choose to take a photo, photo-library access only when you choose media, microphone access only when you start a voice recording, and location access only when you choose to add a place. You can deny or later change these permissions in iOS Settings. Face ID is processed by Apple’s LocalAuthentication framework on your device; Presias does not receive or store biometric data.
4. How we use information
We use account information to provide sign-in, session management, account recovery, and support. We use your moments and media to provide saving, timeline, search, calendar, export, playback, and deletion features. We use purchase and entitlement information to provide membership access and restore purchases. We may use information to prevent abuse, protect the Service, investigate errors, respond to legal requests, and communicate important changes.
We do not sell your private moments, use them for advertising, or use them to build an advertising profile. We do not use your photos, voice recordings, videos, or location details for unrelated marketing.
5. Private-by-default storage
Your records are associated with your signed-in account. The app and Web archive use Supabase Auth, Postgres, private Storage, and row-level access controls to restrict records and media to the account that owns them. The Web page stores your light or dark theme preference in browser local storage, and Supabase Auth may store session state locally to keep you signed in. These local values are not used for advertising. Media is served through short-lived signed URLs when it needs to be displayed or played. No security measure can guarantee absolute security, but we use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards for the Service.
6. Service providers and sharing
We share only the information needed to operate the Service with providers acting on our behalf. Supabase provides authentication, database, private media storage, and related infrastructure. Apple and Google process authentication requests under their own privacy policies. Apple processes App Store payments and subscription transactions. RevenueCat processes subscription and entitlement information so we can display membership status and restore purchases. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the Service, or in connection with a lawful merger, acquisition, or transfer of the Service.
Presias does not send personal data or user content to any third-party AI service. The optional food-photo classification used by Memories runs entirely on the device with Apple’s Vision framework. Photos are not transmitted to an AI provider; only the classification metadata is saved with the user’s private record in Supabase.
We do not use advertising networks or third-party analytics SDKs in the current iOS app. Each provider is expected to protect information consistently with this policy and applicable requirements. You should also review the privacy policies of Supabase, Apple, Google, and RevenueCat.
7. Retention and deletion
We keep account information and saved moments while your account remains active or for as long as needed to provide the Service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect the Service. You can export or delete your moments and private media from the iOS app’s Privacy & Data screen. Deleting content may not immediately remove limited copies from encrypted backups or provider systems that are retained for security, disaster recovery, or legal reasons; those copies are removed according to the provider’s retention cycle.
Deleting all moments from the app does not automatically delete the authentication account or cancel an Apple subscription. To request account deletion, contact support@presias.com from the account email. Subscription cancellation must be managed through Apple’s subscription settings.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal information. You may also withdraw permission for optional device access by changing iOS Settings. Contact support@presias.com for a request; we may need to verify account ownership before completing it.
9. International processing
The Service uses cloud providers that may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, we use appropriate contractual, technical, or other safeguards for cross-border processing. By using the Service, you understand that information may be processed by the providers described in this policy in the regions where they operate.
10. Children’s privacy
Presias is not directed to children who are not legally able to agree to the Service on their own. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If you believe a child has provided information without appropriate consent, contact support@presias.com so we can review and take appropriate action.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the Service, providers, or legal requirements change. We will update the date above and, when a change is material, provide a more prominent notice in the app or on the Web. Your continued use after the effective date means the updated policy applies to future use.
12. Contact
For privacy questions, access or deletion requests, contact support@presias.com. Please do not send passwords, authentication codes, or private memories in an email.
